Christmas is less than a week away, time flies. This year could not close quick enough for me, I am exhausted. I hope you have a fabulous christmas with your family, treasure every moment, give plenty of presents and hugs and most of all eat way too much food. Merry Christmas.

Bergdorf Goodman Holiday Windows

Christmas is finally here if we like it or not. I must admit I would give anything to have a white christmas but unfortunately this is something that Brisbane's weather would just not make possible. I envy those walking down Fifth and Madison Avenues on december nights as the holiday displays have adorned the windows. This year Bergdorf Goodmans theme 'Wish You Were Here' dazzled me. Not that their all year round displays aren't magnificent but this years holiday display brought back the enchantment and fantasy that surrounds Christmas.

For the Love of Fur no more

I have always had a deep obsession with fur, whether it was being worn, dressing up a room or just sitting there. Lately however I have progressively changed my ways and become more eco friendly and as I cant dim my obession for fur, I have moved onto Faux. Now that I have a more environmentally friendly out look on life- I have not joined Green Peace as of yet- I love to support any campagin that helps our natural world. My favorite being Id rather go naked than wear Fur campaign by PETA, also supported by numerous celebrities and influential people.

Apsoluetly Beautiful Things

I cant keep my eyes off apsolutely beautiful things ,a blog by Brisbane based Interior Designer Anna Spiro. Her gorgeous company Black and Spiro (click) is everything you would expect from a talented designer and more. She uses colour in a way that I could only ever dream of. Influence

I have had Mary Kate and Ashley Olsens book Influence for a couple of years now and its the one book that I cant put down. I keep coming back to it for inspiration and an amazing read.

Verandah

I will never be able to live in a house without a verandah. A place outside to relax, sit back and read a good book or entertain guests is what makes a house a home.

For the Love of Colour

Colour is not something to be scared of, it should be embraced!! I openly admit I love nothing more than everything white, however, lately I have come to terms with the fact that colour can make a statement and bring a room to life.

I hope the weather remains sunny all weekend long. I am missing someone close to me very much and these gorgeous summer days bring back the best of memories when we would spontaneously pack a picnic and spend the day in the countryside or by the beach. From Where I'd Rather Be

I wish I was here at Singita, a luxury gaming lodge in Africa. As you can see it is absolutely amazing and one of the best kept secret hideaways. The timeless charm and tranquil beauty the place holds, not to mention the sense of adventure you would feel staying in the raw wilderness, has most defiantly made this place top of my must do list.

It's Just Beautiful

I adore this gorgeous pool house. I can just imagine summer days and glorious warm nights spent with friends laughing and drinking cocktails beneath it.

Vintage Trunks

I was lucky enough to inherit an amazing Louis Vuitton steamer trunk from my mum this year, who was given it to her by her great grandmother. It is absolutely gorgeous and it gets pride of place at the end of my bed. It is adorned with beautiful travel stickers from the Hampton's, London and other amazing places. I think vintage trunks can give a room a sense of history and a story.

An Event to Remember

Im in love with this book by Jerry Sibal, a world renowned events designer. I want to start to host more dinner parties and get togethers and I cant wait to use some of his ideas for inspiration to make my events beautiful and special.

You would expect nothing less from Ralph Lauren's new store in paris to go beyond the point of divine, and it does exactly that. Housed in a beautiful 17th-century Hotel Particulier, the inside reflects the American lifestyle and the elegant talent of Lauren. The boutique is designed around 5 floors, including a beautiful courtyard which functions as a summer terrace for the inside American style restaurant.

Bathrooms

The bathroom is my favourite room in a house. Its somewhere that you can escape from the world around you and be completely alone and honest with yourself. Its pure and beautiful.
